Whenever speaking to new potential clients, we are surprised by the simplistic view on hourly rate. People want to know if you have the lowest hourly rate, but never inquire who has the best rate. Isn’t the lowest rate the best? Not always.
Imagine you have two companies offering the same service. Company A charges $50 per hour, the lowest rate, but takes 5 hours to complete a project. Company B charges $75 per hour, the higher rate, but only takes 3 hours to complete the project. In this case, Company B clearly offers the best rate with a project completion cost of $225 instead of $250. Additionally, Company B is able to complete your project more efficiently with extra time to spare.
So look beyond the rates to the truth. Find the best, most efficient, cost-effective company, not the cheapest.
These are actually great ideas. You have touched some good things here. Any way keep up wrinting.
